ARTISTIC APPROACH
My practice is rooted in an exploration of the nocturnal, of liminal lights, and of what the philosopher Baldine Saint Girons calls “the night-time instant”: that uncertain, untamed in-between where the ancient strata of the world — and of ourselves — resurface. I feel a particular attraction to those atmospheres where reality dissolves without ever entirely disappearing, giving way to indefinite, almost hallucinatory visions that awaken mental projections.
My approach is transversal: photography, video, sound, immersive installation, or artist books — each medium forms part of the sensory score of my work. I regard light as a living substance, which I shape to create singular atmospheres, between continuous glow and the fleeting bursts of flash.
This subtle balance I cherish — between dog and wolf — allows me to reveal a shifting mental landscape, conducive to intuition and deep reminiscence. My works, though precise, remain deliberately enigmatic: open fragments, partly encrypted, inviting interpretation. In the field, I let instinct and chance guide me — fortuitous encounters become messengers, catalysts drawn from reality in order to better transfigure it.
