My practice is rooted in an exploration of the nocturnal, liminal light, and what the philosopher Baldine Saint Girons describes as the “nuital moment”, an indeterminate threshold where the ancient strata of both the world and the self begin to surface. I am drawn to those states in which reality dissolves without ever fully disappearing, giving rise to ambiguous, almost hallucinatory visions that invite mental projection.
My practice unfolds across photography, moving image, sound, immersive installation, and artists’ books. Each medium contributes to a broader sensory vocabulary. I approach light as a living material, shaping it to construct singular atmospheres that oscillate between continuous illumination and the fleeting intensity of flash.
I am particularly interested in this fragile state of entre chien et loup, that transitional hour between day and night when perception becomes unstable and intuition takes precedence. Within this shifting mental landscape, memory, myth, and the unseen begin to intertwine. While formally precise, my works remain deliberately elusive. They exist as open fragments, partially encoded, resisting fixed interpretation.
My working process is guided by instinct and chance. Encounters, places, and unexpected events become mediators. Drawn from reality, they are transformed into images that blur the boundaries between the tangible and the imagined.
